New CEO and Chairman of Sanitec

The Board of Directors of Sanitec Corporation (“Sanitec”) today appointed Peter Nilsson, 47, as new Managing Director and CEO of Sanitec, after previous Managing Director and CEO, Bengt Pihl, resigned.
Peter Nilsson who since September 2008 acted as Chairman of Sanitec, has long experience of senior management positions as CEO of Duni, among others, and is currently Chairman of Securitas Direct. Peter Nilsson will, as a consequence of the appointment step down from his position as Chairman of the Board of Sanitec.

Fredrik Cappelen will be appointed new Chairman of the Board. Fredrik Cappelen was Managing Director and CEO of Nobia 1995-2008 and is today, among others, member of the Board in Securitas AB and Munksjö AB.

In the course of his years with the company Bengt has led the company through tough times and Sanitec is now very much on the right path.
