Harald Treml appointed ad interim COO as Walter Koch leaves Sanitec

Walter Koch has decided to leave his position as Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Sanitec by end of March 2010. Harald Treml has thus been appointed ad interim COO as of 1 January 2010, reporting directly to Bengt Pihl, President & CEO. Harald Treml will have this role on top of his current responsibilities as Senior Vice President Supply Chain & Logistics, until a permanent successor to Walter Koch has been found.

Harald Treml joined Sanitec in 2008 directly from a position as Vice President Logistics at Electrolux Europe. Harald has a solid background and extensive experience in Supply Chain Management, Logistics and Process optimisation as well as in Controlling and IT. Before joining Sanitec he held various managerial positions in the consumer durables industry within Whirlpool and Electrolux.
